Do Yourself a favor! Here is a great Mini Treat Holder for Spring!

The are big enough to hold a gift card, a few chocolate eggs or bunnies, a chapstick, nail polish and even some small hand sanitizer.

Here’s the How To!

Begin with a solid base of cardstock cut at 7 3/4″ x 1  7/8″ .

Using the Tag Topper punch,  insert each end and punch to make the decorative edge. Score this at 3 1/2″ and 4 1/4″ and tie with colorful ribbon.

Choose an embellishment and greeting and adhere to the topper.

For the bottom of the box cut a contrasting strip of cardstock 6  3/4″ by 1  1/4″ wide and score at 1/4″, 2 1/2″, 3  1/2″ and 5  3/8″. Place sticky strip and the flap and make a rectangle. this will fit the tag Topper and help keep it erect.

Finally take your treat and carefully place within the topper box and add a little crinkly cut easter grass and you have a little treat box or name card holder. A cute little favor, wouldn’t you agree?

Some products used here include ( the paper is retired but I suggest any of our current papers like painted blooms or Birthday bash.

Someone asked me how Stampin’ Up got the lemons stamped 3x but not overlapping. It’s a basic technique called Masking, a real staple for stamping when putting flowers in vases or a bunny peeking out of a basket.   I like to use Post-it notes with the sticky all over the note for masking but you can use copy paper or a very thin vellum.  Here is a video from the Stampin’ Up Corporate training team:
