Tips of the Trade
When using the Woodland Embossing folder (139673), why not try hiding things in the woods, trees, elves, bears, children, or cars. Etc. This tutorial works the same with any stamp that will fit in the woods.
This card begins with inking the embossing folder on the Sizzix side with Sahara Sand or Crumb Cake and then before placing your white cardstock inside, take Momento ink and stamp an image of choice on the same side of the folder that is already inked. When you stamp on the Sizzix side, the trees resist the ink to allow the stamped image to appear to be behind them. Run your folder through the Big Shot.
Using Smoky Slate Ink, take a brayer and ink it up. Remember to roll the brayer ever so softly over the resisted tress as many times as you would like the color of the trees to be.
Using Stampin’ Write Markers, color the car as follows: (My suggestions but you can definitely use your own color scheme.)
Leave white walls white
Grill and car – your choice of color
Bumper – Smokey Slate
Tires – basic grey
Window and light – soft sky.
After getting the hang of the process, hide more fun things in the woods. Add a sentiment of choice on the inside, use a banner, or stamp directly onto the front of the card.
